Data privacy and data protection

We are pleased that you have visited our website. Below, we would like to inform you about how we handle your data in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Controller

The controller named in the imprint is responsible for the data processing described below.

Usage Data

When you visit our website, so-called usage data is temporarily evaluated on our web server for statistical purposes as a log in order to improve the quality of our website. This data set consists of:

  • the name and address of the requested content,
  • the date and time of the request,
  • the amount of data transferred,
  • the access status (content transferred, content not found),
  • the description of the web browser and operating system used,
  • the referral link indicating the page from which you accessed our website.

The legal basis for processing usage data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The processing is carried out in the legitimate interest of providing the website content and ensuring a device- and browser-optimized display.

In addition, we store the full IP address transmitted by your web browser strictly for a period of seven days, in the legitimate interest of being able to detect, limit, and eliminate attacks on our websites. After this period, we delete or anonymize the IP address. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

To protect your data as comprehensively as possible from unwanted access, we take technical and organizational measures. We use an encryption process on our websites. Your information is transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa over the Internet using TLS encryption. You can usually recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol in your browser’s status bar is closed and the address bar begins with https://.

Required Cookies

We use cookies on our websites that are required to use our websites.

Cookies are small text files that can be stored and read on your device. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session.

We do not use these required cookies for analysis, tracking, or advertising purposes.

Some of these cookies only contain information about certain settings and are not personally identifiable. They may also be necessary to enable user navigation, security, and the implementation of the website.

We use these cookies based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

You can set your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies. You can also delete them at any time using the corresponding browser settings and prevent new cookies from being placed. Please note that our websites may then not be fully displayed and some functions may no longer be technically available.

Consent banner

We use a consent management platform (consent banner or cookie banner) on our websites. The processing associated with the use of the consent management platform and the logging of the settings you have made is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, in our legitimate interest to display our content according to your preferences and to be able to verify your consent(s). The settings you have made, the consents you have given, and parts of your usage data are stored in a cookie. This means that the cookie is retained for subsequent page requests, and your consents can still be tracked. Further information can be found under the heading “Required cookies.”

The provider of the consent management platform acts for us as a service provider (contract processor) who is strictly bound by instructions. A contract processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR has been agreed upon.

Ticket Sales

You can purchase tickets for our concerts and events at the on-site sales outlets or through our ticket provider www.reservix.de.

We process your personal data required to process your ticket purchase and ship the ticket. The service provider Reservix GmbH, Humboldtstraße 2, 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau, and the Museumsverbund Nordfriesland, Herzog-Adolf-Str. 25, 25813 Husum, support us in selling our tickets as part of a contract processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Storage Period

Unless we have already informed you in detail about the storage period, we delete personal data when it is no longer required for the aforementioned processing purposes and there are no legitimate interests or other (legal) retention reasons that prevent deletion.

Other Processors

We pass on your data as part of contract processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR to service providers who support us in operating our websites and related processes. These include, for example, hosting service providers. Our service providers are strictly bound by our instructions and are contractually obligated accordingly.

Below, we list the processors we work with, unless we have already done so in the above text of the privacy policy. If data may be processed outside the EU or EEA in this context, we will inform you of this in the table below.
